Bay Area Youth Vaishnav Parivar (BAYVP) is a Milpitas based non-profit organization. In 2008, the organization acquired their own facility, Shreemaya Krishnadham, in Milpitas.
"On Sunday, we are celebrating first anniversary of Krishnadham. It is a very auspicious day for our community and major religious ceremonies are planned," said Jogen Shah, BAYVP President.
"We encourage all community members to participate in all celebrations. We take great pride in our religious, cultural, educational and community services that are conducted at Krishnadham." Shah said.
BAYVP community services include Shreemaya Vidya Mandir, Nikunj Yuva Seva Program and a Senior Center. Shreemaya Vidya Mandir enrolls over 200 students who study Hinduism, Hindi, Gujarati, music, art, etc. Nikunj Yuva Seva is involved with youth volunteer activities such as blood drives, medical camps and cultural events. The recently inaugurated Senior Center provides various religious, social and community activities for seniors from Indian community.
