January 28, 2009 > Union City Council Union City Council Union City Council reconvened at 7 p.m. on Monday, January 26, 2009, at the Cesar Chavez/Barnard-White Middle School (former Barnard Junior High School) on Whipple Road, Union City. The meeting commemorated the incorporation of Union City on January 26, 1959, as part of the City's 50th Anniversary Celebrations. The City's first Council Meeting was held on borrowed premises at the school.
