January 7, 2009 > Open Mic Open Mic Submitted By Robert Garfinkle The Fremont Area Writers Club, and the Fremont Branch of AAUW will sponsor an Open Mic, Thursday, January 15 from 7 - 9 p.m. at the Barnes and Noble bookstore, 3900 Mowry Avenue, Fremont. We meet near the History/Technology section at the back of the store. You will be given 5 to 10 minutes to read. If you do not want to read, sit back and have fun listening to others read, have a cup of coffee, etc. An Open Mic session is an opportunity for authors to try out their material before a live audience. We will be holding Open Mic sessions on the third Thursday of each month at the Fremont Barnes and Noble. Open Mic is free and open to the public. No reservations.
