December 24, 2008 > Letter to the Editor: Another side of the A's story Letter to the Editor: Another side of the A's story Recently, Fremont had been considering moving the A's ballpark from Pacific Common to an alternate site at Grimmer and Osgood. One thing that I see in the news is how this will be great with BART next to it. However, there is another side of the story. The residential neighborhood that is just on the other side of the 680 and an elementary school that is just 0.5 mile away. Instead of a "field of dreams," this could be a "field of nightmares" for them. This, I believe, is the story that is untold. At what cost is Fremont willing to do this? Prakoon Chen Fremont
