November 26, 2008 > Lady Renegades eliminated in first round Lady Renegades eliminated in first round By Giovanni Albanese Jr. Ohlone women's soccer traveled to Modesto for their first-round playoff game against the Lady Pirates on Saturday, Nov. 22, but was unable to come away with the victory. The Lady Pirates jumped ahead in the first half, scoring the only goal before heading into the locker room. Ohlone trailed at the half, 1-0. In the second half, the game opened up, totaling four goals. However, each goal by the Lady Renegades was matched by Modesto. When the final whistle blew, the Lady Pirates of Modesto were victorious, 3-2, and advancing to the second round.Jasmine Floyd and Laura Gorecki were the goal scorers for Ohlone.
