Author to speak and sign books

On Sunday, December 7 from 2 to 4 p.m., Matilda Butler, author of Rosie's Daughters, will speak and sign books at a Fremont Branch American Association of Women's get-together at Sunol Valley Golf Course, 6900 Mission Road in Sunol.
Matilda Butler, whose presentation is entitled "The Tipping Point for Women's Equity," is a psychologist, educator and award-winning author. Her book is about the generation of valiant women born between 1940 and 1945 who opened doors of opportunity for the rest of us.
The public is invited to attend this illuminating presentation and discussion. There is a suggested donation to the AAUW Education Foundation of $20 per person.
