Today, cows visited our school
Submitted By Phaedra Zielonka, 5th Grade, Brier Elementary School
Just today at Briar Elementary school a Holstein cow and a calf about a month and half old came to visit. The farmer that owned the cows taught the kids interesting facts about them. It was very cool.
The sixth grades got up and were able to pet the calf. It was awesome; so soft and furry. It had its own cute little light blue harness. Its back legs were way longer than the front legs. It looked kind of funny, but it's not nice to judge people or cows or all other living things.
The trailer that the cows were in was really bright white. It was kind of hard to see the cows because the sunlight was ricocheting off the trailer but it was fun. They had a question and answer session and you had to speak into the microphone. When the cattle had to leave we all went back to our class room.
TCV thanks Brier Elementary 5th grade teacher, Mr. Sidney for this submission. |
