Trains of Lights
By Karen L. Kadaja
Experience the magic of a brightly decorated holiday train, covered with thousands of lights, as it winds through Niles Canyon on a 75-minute round-trip ride either from the Niles District in Fremont to Sunol or from Sunol to the Niles District in Fremont and return.
This annual fundraising event is presented by the Pacific Locomotive Association to benefit Niles Canyon Railway projects throughout the year. The association is sincerely grateful for all of those who help this non-profit, tax-exempt, living history museum continue to operate and grow.
There will be four trains per night: a twilight train and an evening train from Niles and another twilight and evening train from Sunol. All general seating - $25 - is sold on a "first-come, first-served" basis. Tickets are limited so order now.
Niles Canyon Railway Train of Lights tickets sales have begun; tickets are now available at www.ncry.org.
