October 15, 2008 > Superintendent Search Update Superintendent Search Update Submitted By Rick LaPlante A total of 21 people have applied for the Superintendent's job, two more than originally reported by the California School Boards Association, which is helping coordinate the search for the Board of Education. The Board, with help from a CSBA adviser, considered which applicants should be interviewed. Those candidates will be interviewed by the Board and a 20-member Superintendent Search Advisory Council, representing District stakeholders, on Thursday and Friday, Oct. 16 and 17. The Board will conduct final interviews Saturday, Oct. 18th.
