Submitted By Rick LaPlante
Parent Project Jr., a joint effort with Union City Youth & Family Services designed to provide "loving solutions for families" will begin an eight-week session Wednesday, Oct. 15. Classes, from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays through Dec. 10, will help parents of children 5-10 sidestep arguments, avoid temper tantrums, improve school behavior, create more cooperation at home, teach responsibility and manage impulsive behavior. Cost is $75 for one person, $100 for two, and financial assistance and payment plans are available.
A Parent Project Sr. class, for families with children 10 and older, will start Thursday, Nov. 6. More information on either program is available by calling Kristie Potter (510) 675-5217. |
