University women offer community program and high school service credits
Fremont American Association of University Women (AAUW) has inaugurated a One Book One Community read using the Book, Three Cups of Tea by Greg Mortenson and David Oliver Relin.
As part of this project AAUW is collaborating with the City of Fremont Human Services Dept. to set up a project for high school students to earn up to 40 hours Community Service Credit by participating.
High school students from grades 9 through 12 can earn community service hours by reading the book Three Cups of Tea by Greg Mortenson and David Oliver Relin.
American Association of University Women and the City of Fremont invite Fremont's high school students to learn more about this program on Thursday, October 2nd from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Admin Training Room located at the City of Fremont, 3300 Capital Avenue, Building B.
