September 3, 2008 > Rebels win basketball championship Rebels win basketball championship Submitted By Elco Maravilla The Rebels basketball team captured the championship of The Midnite Ballahs Dream League tournament held Friday, Aug 22 - Sunday, Aug 25th in Hayward. Competing teams included: Ballers United (2nd place), The Unity (3rd place), The Runnin' Crew (4th place) and The Aloha Jam (5th place). Rebels were undefeated in tournament play. Rebels players are Matt Perry, Nikko Adre, AJ Angeles, Ryan Aniciete, Jerome Macasieb, Andrew Hicks, CJ Furraganan and the "The Bean" and led by Coach Elco. The Midnite Ballahs Dream League is a CYO Adult league. CYO coaches, any parishioner of Diocese of Oakland, CYO officials and former CYO players are eligible to play in The Midnite Ballahs Dream League.
