August 20, 2008 > Golf Tournament benefits Ohlone College Athletes Golf Tournament benefits Ohlone College Athletes Submitted By Thomas Hsu Fremont Bank and Ohlone College are coming together for a day of golf on Monday, September 18 at Castlewood Country Club in Pleasanton. Everyone is welcome. Proceeds from the tournament will go toward the Ohlone College Athletics Department to fund programs, scholarships, and equipment for all our teams - from women's water polo to men's basketball. Last year's tournament brought net revenue of over $25,000 to support the students and athletes attending Ohlone College. Two $500 awards were also given to Ohlone College Athletics' male and female MVP'S for their tremendous performance, to be used towards continuing their education. This year's goal is to raise over $36,000. Tickets are $245 for individuals or $980 for foursomes, which include green fees, cart, lunch, dinner, special awards and prizes.
