Historic mansion to hold upcoming events

Dunsmuir-Hellman Historic Estate will be holding events in the coming weeks on the mansion lawn.
On Friday, August 22, there will be a movie night at Dunsmuir, featuring the Mike Myers comedy, which was partially filmed at the Dunsmuir-Hellman, "So I Married an Axe Murderer." Gates will open at 6 p.m. and there will be a $5 entry fee.
A free Family Day will be held on Sunday, September 7, to play old-fashioned games such as hoop and stick, ball and cup, hopscotch, stilts and more. The mansion will also be open for tours. All are invited for this event which runs from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
