Drigon Dog Park to hold fundraiser
Submitted By Patricia Yee
On Saturday, Aug. 23, from noon to 5 p.m., the American Canine Institute will be at Drigon Dog Park for the "Back to Dog School" fundraiser.
Trainers from the institute will be holding obedience classes and demonstrations. Also, starting at 2 p.m., the trainers will begin testing dogs for the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) certificate.
The minimum donation to take part in the festivities is $5. To have a dog tested for the CGC certificate, it will cost $20, which is $5 cheaper than the regular fee. Along with members of the American Canine Institute will be the sponsors of the event: Jamba Juice and Titan's Kingdom.
Seventy-five percent of the CGC profits and 50% of the items sold by the vendors will go towards the dog-park lights funds.
For all information about the fundraiser or to reserve a CGC test time, contact Patricia Yee at Cldntsleep@aol.com or call 510-742-9616.
