July 16, 2008 > Washington High graduate receives top honors Washington High graduate receives top honors Submitted By Kristine Sandoe Emma Sandoe, a Fremont resident and 2003 graduate of Washington High School, graduated June 22 from the University of California, San Diego. She was honored with the Alumni Association's Outstanding Student for Revelle College as well as receiving the Outstanding Senior Award for UC San Diego. The Outstanding Senior award for UCSD was presented at the all-campus graduation on June 19. There were 59 nominations for this award. Emma was chosen by a panel that included professors, students, and staff. When she graduated from Washington High in 2003, Emma won the four-year, $10,000, Lam Research Core Values Scholarship recognizing leadership.
