July 2, 2008 > Hayward City Council welcomes new members to Youth Commission Hayward City Council welcomes new members to Youth Commission On Tuesday June 24, City Clerk Angelina Reyes swore in seven new members to the Hayward Youth Commission. Gurmant Gill, Kevin Johnson, Sikai Song, Cecilia Thnay-Hu and Remmi Thomspon will have a term that ends on 2010. Lawrence Mcgee and Lauren Quan were sworn in also with their term ending in 2009. The new appointments joined current members Maria Cortes, Bryant Johnson, Sant Kumar, Jessican Munoz and Shaminder Singh who were reappointed until 2010. Two members of the Hayward City Council, two members of Hayward Area Recreation and Park District as well as two members from Hayward Unified School District made up the panel that chose the new youth commissioners.
