A community is only as healthy as its citizens. Meals on Wheels and Nova Gallery are committed to go above and beyond in making sure that our seniors are cared for. But they need the help and support of this community to truly be successful.
On Sunday, June 22, Nova Gallery and LIFE ElderCare are coming together to celebrate ART and AGING, hosting a fundraiser designed to secure funds to feed hundreds of homebound seniors that live in the Tri-City neighborhoods of Fremont, Milpitas and Newark.
Gallery owners Sally Gifford and Dale Sobek are co- hosting this event with LIFE ElderCare. Gifford and Sobek have brought fine art to the Tri-City area for several years. Located on the corner of Osgood Road and Auto Mall Parkway, the large 6,000 square foot facility is filled with art from Europe and Asia as well as showcasing the creative works of several local California artists.
A life sized bronze Cougar is stationed outside the entrance welcome guests to the large wood complex that once housed a prominent construction company. Several interior rooms - former offices - have been converted into miniature galleries.
Join in an afternoon dedicated to helping seniors. Fifty percent of every purchase is donated to Meals on Wheels. Help to feed our homebound elderly and at the same time feed your soul with the wonder of Art.
