Transitioning from Employee to Entrepreneur

Fremont Main Library will be hosting a discussion on small business solutions, on Tuesday, June 17th, in the Fukaya Meeting Room. The seminar, titled "Transitioning from Employee to Entrepreneur", will be given by Alan Olsen.

The library invites you to learn from Alan Olsen, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Managing Partner of leading Bay Area accounting firm, Greenstein, Rogoff, Olsen & Company (GROCO), as he provides guidance on what it takes to become, and succeed as, an entrepreneur. Alan and his firm have worked with some of the most influential entrepreneurs in the world, who have helped build companies such as Google, Skype, eBay, Oracle, Sun Microsystems, Compaq, and America Online.

During his discussion, Mr. Olsen will explore the 10 changes one must make to become a successful entrepreneur, how to differentiate between an "employee" and an "entrepreneur", the law of leveraging, and recent trends in the Venture Capital Community.

This event is sponsored by the Fremont Chamber of Commerce and the Alameda County Library.
