The Fremont Area Writers Club and the Fremont Branch of AAUW will sponsor an Open Mic at the Barnes and Noble bookstore at 3900 Mowry Avenue, Fremont at 7 - 9 p.m., on June 19. We meet near the History/Technology section. You will be given 5 to 10 minutes to read. If you do not want to read, sit back and have fun listening to others read, have a cup of coffee, etc. An Open Mic session is an opportunity for authors to try out their material before a live audience. We will be holding Open Mic sessions on the third Thursday of each month at the Fremont Barnes and Noble. The Open Mic is free and open to the public. No reservations.
