May 21, 2008 > The Pack sizzles The Pack sizzles Submitted By Ed Ohye Photos By Ed Ohye and Ken MacLure It was the HOTTEST and last day of the Spring Season and the final game for The Pack, FC Fremont's Under-14/15 Girl's Spring Soccer House League team. The whole Pack team showed up for the last game ready to rock! The Pack defense started the game strong and kept turning back shot after shot made by the Vortex offense. Pack's goalkeeper, Jessica McNair, almost never touched the ball in the first half of the game because of the outstanding play by The Pack defensive players, Alicia Shi, Alice Ding, Tiffany Sarchet, Erica Neave, Kosha Kumar, and Savina Khangur. In the middle of the first half, Pack forward, Kendra MacLure, scored two goals within minutes of each other with the assistance of offensive players, Erica Ohye, Demi Medeiros, Aiman Arif, Nicole Gronski, and Roshana Jacob. The first half ended with the score 2-0 in favor of The Pack. In the second half, play started even hotter than the first half for The Pack, as MacLure scored her third goal of the game and her first "hat trick" for the season. MacLure was assisted by offensive players Deeksha Mehta, Mariya Waheed, Olivia Hanna, Ravneet Kaur and Menaka Shankar. The game ended sizzling hot when MacLure sealed the victory in the final minutes with another goal by blasting it past the Vortex goalie and into the net. It was a great way to end the season for The Pack with a well played game by the whole Pack team.
