April 16, 2008 > Claim Jumper Restaurant hosts Tip-A-Cop Claim Jumper Restaurant hosts Tip-A-Cop Submitted By Gennifer Horowitz Teaming up with representatives from local law enforcement agencies and the California Highway Patrol, Claim Jumper Restaurants will host Tip-A-Cop night to benefit the Special Olympics. Uniformed officers and deputies will work alongside Claim Jumper's friendly wait staff to earn tips during dinner by tackling everyday restaurant tasks such as greeting guests, serving drinks, taking orders and bussing tables. The restaurant chain's annual event helped law enforcement teams raise more than $150,000 last year.
