April 16, 2008 > Showcase artist Farshid Namei Showcase artist Farshid Namei The Fremont Art Association (FAA) will host Farshid Namei, the associations' Second Quarter Showcase Artist at their gallery from April 19 through May 4. On September 1, 2002, Namei left a very promising and rewarding career with a great company, to devote her time studying fine art. Her decision was neither spontaneous nor impulsive. She had set that date in her mind 10 years prior, the day she joined the company. It was an extremely difficult decision, but she had no other option, - she had promised herself to move on. Since her departure, Namei has taken art classes, and dedicated most of her time to art, developing her skills with the understanding that this is just the beginning of a long journey. A reception for Namei and additional second quarter exhibiting artists will be held on Sunday, April 20 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Fremont Art Association Gallery. Hors d'oeuvres and beverages will be served.
