Spring break carnival and coloring contest

Submitted By Joanne Paletta

The Tri-Cities League of Volunteers (LOV) will present their annual Kid's Spring Break Carnival and Coloring Contest on Thursday, March 27, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the LOV Community Service Center in the former Ruschin School in Newark.

This event is open to all Tri-City children age 12 and under. There will be lots of exciting games, prizes galore, and a challenging five-in-one climb/slide/bounce, as well as refreshments. Age categories for the coloring contest are five and under, six to seven, eight to nine, 10 - 12, and 13 and over. All coloring contest entries will be on display and prizes awarded to the winners at 12:30 p.m.

Coloring contest forms available at LOV and at Fremont, Newark and Union City Libraries and community centers. All children must be accompanied by an adult. This is a great way to spend some time when the kids are out of school. Bring the family for a spring fling.
