Doing business in the United States

Offshore investors, non-resident businesses and new American entrepreneurs and business owners need to be aware about the implications of doing business in the United States. Alan Olsen, CPA, partner of Greenstein, Rogoff, Olsen & Co. will discuss issues such as tax treaties between countries, legislation and compliances, proper business structure, transfer of assets and more to achieve future financial success on Tuesday, Feb. 26 at the Fremont Main Library.

"Doing Business in the United States" is a part of Small Business Solutions at the Fremont Main Library. The event is sponsored by the Alameda County Library and Fremont Chamber of Commerce and is free and open to all.

The event begins at 7 p.m. and will end at around 8:30 p.m. The library is wheelchair accessible and an ASL interpreter will be provided for this program if requested in advance. Seating limits will be observed.

For an interpreter, or more information about this event, call (510) 745-1401 or TTY (888) 663-0660.
