Faculty Follies at Centerville
Teachers at Centerville Junior High School are busy rehearsing their dance moves...under the supervision of their students. In the entertainment portion of the event, the teachers and students will present "Faculty Follies," a variety of signing and dancing, with a hilarious spoof on "Dancing with the Stars." Singing performances by the students will cap off the evening.
The follies also offer a chance to bid on some great sports memorabilia while helping raise funds for Centerville Jr. High School. Items range from baseball light hats from the New England Patriots, to an autographed football from the 49ers. John Doyle, manager of San Jose Earthquakes and a former student of the school, has generously donated some memorabilia to his alma mater.
Funds raised will go towards equipping the school gym with bleachers. The PTSA which will serve free food and beverages to attendees aims to raise $36,000 from this event.
