December 12, 2007 > Cruisin' for toys Cruisin' for toys Submitted By Joanne Paletta Photos By Courtesy of Joanne Paletta Cruisin' for Toys was hosted by the Classic Cruisers USA car club Saturday, Dec. 8. Joining them in the cruise was Los Lobos Car Club of Union City and the EVOOA Emergency Vehicle Car Club. The cruise began at Dino's Grill in Newark and went through Fremont, Union City and ended up at The Tri-Cities League of Volunteers office in Newark. As the cars pulled up to the League of Volunteers office the Program Director for the League of Volunteers, Joanne Paletta, her husband Tom, and good friend and EVOOA member Reiner Glausch accepted the toys. A total of about 80 gifts were received. This was the 1st Annual Cruise and the Classic Cruisers along with their new President, Matt Herrera hope to make this an annual event and invite all interested car clubs to join in next year.
