December 12, 2007 > A Child's Christmas in Wales A Child's Christmas in Wales Submitted By Rachel LePell Bay Area audiences are in for a special treat this season as the Chabot College Theater Arts department presents an adventurous spin on the classic tale of "A Child's Christmas in Wales" by Dylan Thomas. "A Child's Christmas in Wales" was published in 1955 as a sketch about the holiday season that was originally written for radio. Thomas recreates the experience of Christmas from the nostalgic perspective of a child who recalls that everything was brighter and better. The play is directed by award-winning Bay Area theater artist Joel Mullennix of San Francisco's Word for Word Performing Arts Company. Tickets are $10 per person and are available at the door.
