Garfinkle The South Bay Branch of the California Writers Club (CWC) and the Fremont Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) are co-sponsoring an Open Mic session on Thursday, Nov. 15 in the Barnes and Noble bookstore at 3900 Mowry Ave. from 7 - 9 p.m. We meet near the History section at the back of the store. Come and read a selection from your own writing, or a favorite author. You will be given 5 to 10 minutes to read. If you do not want to read, sit back and have fun listening to others read, have a cup of coffee, etc. An Open Mic session is an opportunity for authors to try out their material before a live audience. We will be holding Open Mic sessions on the third Thursday of each month at the Barnes and Nobel. Open Mic is free and open to the public.
