Much Ado About Nothing
The Ohlone College Theatre Department presents "Much Ado About Nothing," a spirited tale of love and hate, a modern display of one of Shakespeare's most enduring plays. Set in 1906 San Francisco, the play captures the essence of this Shakespearean comedy with a turn-of-the century twist. At a time when the city was thriving on newfound wealth, art, movies, fashion and culture, early 20th century San Francisco is the perfect backdrop for this feisty production. Director Tom Blank and his artistic staff have successfully crafted a unique twist to this timeless tale of mistaken identity, vengeance, humor and love. An unforgettable cast of characters and a dash of romance all spin Much Ado About Nothing into a contemporary delight.
