Under-16 Girls House League from FC Fremont Soccer

Weather conditions were perfect for a fun game of soccer at Fremont's Central Park Soccer fields on Thursday, Oct.11 at 5 p.m. on field #4. This was a match Los Tigres Azules was anxious to play as Caution scored in the last few minutes of their previous encounter to defeat Azules, 5-4, in a very exiting game. This game proved to be just as exciting, but as a defensive battle, in which both teams should be very proud of their performance The first half of the gameended tied, nil-nil, as Caution received very strong defensive playfrom Nicole Gronski, Rachel Heng, Christina Kim, Erica Ohye, Niku Jafarnia, and Kamya Raja.Caution goalie, Sara Talooi, made some outstanding saves to keep Los Tigres' offense from getting on the scoreboard.

Early in the second half Cautionforwards and midfielders Rachel McMullen, Zahra Sarwary, Nan Li, Selina Mahesri and Malika Rajvanshymade several excellent passes before one pass found Caution forward Alexis Kageyama. She then fired the ball from the left side of the pitch into the upper right corner of Tigres' net to score the only goal of the game and give Caution another one goal victory.
