The art of Fresco
Sponsored by the Olive Hyde Art Guild, Charlotte Britton will talk about and show slides of fresco painting.
Charlotte Britton fell in love with the unique medium of fresco painting during a series of trips to the hill towns of Umbria in central Italy. Trained as an on-location painter, Charlotte worked for several years in the City of Fremont's art program. She was an early member of the Olive Hyde Art Guild and was the founder of The Santa Clara Valley Watercolor Society.
Her paintings have been displayed in local and national juried exhibits and are in permanent collections from California to the East Coast. In addition to her sessions at LaRomita School of Art in Italy, she has taken painting groups to England, Scotland, Spain and the Netherlands and taught workshops in many locations in the USA and Europe.
