Juice, FC Fremont Girls Under-12 House League

For Juice, opening day 2007 of FC Fremont Soccer was Saturday, September 8, and they came away with a resounding 9-1 victory over Pink Strikers.
Game two of the early season was played on Monday, the 10th against Earthquakes and Juice now have a two game winning streak.
In the game versus Earthquakes, Claire Normoyle got things started for Juice by dribbling the ball down the field and scoring in the first half, .Juice's Harleen Singh continued the scoring in the second half when she scored after receiving a pass from Emily Hoeven to increase the lead to2-0.Tori Nelson had several shots on goal for Juice and capped it with an awesome shot that got by the Earthquakes goalie who had knocked down several of the Juice's shots that day.
For Juice, outstanding defense was played by Mary Fowler, Kristi Ocon and Hoeven as they made several plays to shut-down all Earthquakes' scoring opportunities. Juice's last goal came from Peyton Cook on a high, booming kick that made the final score 4-0.However, with seconds left in the game, Earthquakes had one final scoring opportunity but second half Juice goalie, Alexia Dentoni, recorded a big save to seal the shut out. |
