August 14, 2007 > Catch "THE SCENE," at NewPark Mall Catch "THE SCENE," at NewPark Mall Submitted By Jeanette Gulledge Teens and their parents are invited to check out the latest fashions during The Scene, Saturday, August 18 at NewPark Mall, Center Court from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The Scene is an afternoon filled with fun activities for teens, pre-teens and their parents. NewPark's Scene event will take place in conjunction with 112 other Scenes across the country. Local teens will model the hottest fashions for back-to-school from stores like Vans, Anchor Blue and Steve & Barry's at 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. A wide variety of activities will be offered from free henna tattoos to a climbing wall. For creative types, decorate your denim with paint, studs or glitter. A donation station will also be offered to accept jeans in good condition that will be donated to a local charity.
