Wine tasting on rails

Enjoy Livermore Valley wines and cheese pairing by Sommelier and Wine Educator Sean Andrade onboard the historic Niles Canyon Railway.
Each Sunday afternoon, between August 5 and August 26, your trip will start in Sunol. The historic Niles Canyon Railway station built by Southern Pacific is located at 6 Kilkare Road, Sunol; adjacent to the tracks SP used as their main line. Free parking is available at the station.
Boarding begins at 3:00 p.m. with departure at 3:30 p.m. for a leisurely two hours of wine tasting while traveling through the Niles Canyon. Guests must be over 21 years old. The railroad cars are historic and have very limited handicap access.
Guests are encouraged to combine this event with dinner at an area restaurant. Reservations should be made for 6:30 p.m. or later.
Passengers will receive their own Niles Canyon Railway wine glass and acrylic buffet plate - a lasting reminder of your wine trip.

Each trip is limited to 150 guests to ensure the quality of historic railroad service is maintained.
