Washington Hospital Healthcare Foundation Golf Tournament Receives Record Support
The Washington Hospital Healthcare Foundation Golf Tournament held its 22nd Annual Golf Tournament on May 21 at Castlewood Country Club in Pleasanton. The tournament brings together friends of Washington Hospital and local golfers to raise money for local cancer services and hospice care.
"This tournament was a great success and this year we raised a record breaking amount of more than $74,000," said Brent Hodson, Executive Director of the Washington Hospital Healthcare Foundation. "I would like to sincerely thank all the volunteers and sponsors for their continued support of this annual event. This is a wonderful cause and the money raised will help provide vital services to the community."
The fund-raising event featured a barbecue lunch, driving range, putting contest, silent auction, dinner, raffle and awards ceremony. This year, approximately 220 golfers enjoyed a spectacular day of weather and more than 250 guests enjoyed dinner and a raffle that evening.
