Videotape painting demo
Submitted By Jerry Epps
Golden Hills Art Association in Milpitas will present a videotape painting demonstration by watercolor artist Tom Lynch at their Thursday, June 7 meeting. Lynch is nationally known for his popular television show and his workshops presented throughout the country. Many Santa Clara Valley artists have attended his workshops, which are sponsored annually by University Art. The double-theme program will feature Lynch painting two different pictures--a snow scene with a village church plus a painting of the inside of an old barn. Lynch not only paints quickly and dramatically, but does it all with humor and enthusiasm.
Club president Harriett McGuire invites the public to attend the program and get to know some of our outstanding local artists. Golden Hills is the oldest art group in Milpitas, having been originally established in 1972. Guests are welcome and membership in the group is open to anyone with an interest in art or in promoting art in the community.
