Newark Symphonic Winds Summer Concert

The Newark Symphonic Winds is holding their annual Summer Concert at the Newark Memorial High School Theatre on Friday, June 8th at 7 p.m.
The Newark Symphonic Winds, the Tri-City Area's community symphonic band will perform their third annual summer concert. They will feature an assortment of styles ranging from the music of Dmitri Shostakovich and John Williams to the fantastic movie music of Danny Elfman.
Also featured will be guest artist "Shan Kenner", world class Flamenco/Spanish Guitarist. Shan has thousands of performances to his credit including international tours and tv soundtracks as well as local and international artist recordings.
The Newark Symphonic Winds is comprised of over 40 musicians ranging from students to semi-professional and professional musicians. Call (510) 566-5029 to obtain more information about the concert. Tickets may be purchased at the door.
