Summer camps -Gymnastics and Arts

The Tri-City area boasts of a number of gymnastic academies that train young gymnasts for competitive events as well as provide an excellent source of indoor fun. While all have year round training for all ages, some schools also offer summer camps with a mix of fun and exertion for the young athlete in your family.

Happy Feet Camp - Happy Feet Camp is for campers ages 3 - 6. Camp is a fun filled session of fitness and gymnastics fun. Camps run from June 18-August 24. Two sessions - 8:45 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. -3:15 p.m. Extended care available.
Gymnastic Camps - Ages 6-12. Camp is fun filled with age and skill level appropriate gymnastics and fitness. 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Extended care available.

Recreational Camps - Ages 6 and up. Both full day and half day sessions are available. Weekly sessions run July 9-August 24. Morning session runs 9 a.m. to 12 noon and afternoon session from 12 noon to 3 p.m.
Pre-School Camp - Ages 3-6. Two sessions: July 9 - July 13 and August 13 -August 17. Morning session runs 9 a.m. to 12 noon and afternoon session from Noon to 3 p.m.

Anytime Summertime Kids Camp - Ages 3 and up. Weekly sessions run from June 18-August 24. Morning session are from 9 a.m. to Noon and afternoon from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

For the budding young artist, summer camps offer a diverse range of art styles to experiment and learn from while having fun. Here we cover art camps offered by the recreational departments of cities in the area.
Summer Art Day Camps - Students will be introduced to the basic elements of art, line, shape, color, texture and space and how to incorporate these into their artwork. Ages 7 to 12. Clay Camp - Students learn to manipulate clay. Ages 5-14. Weekly camps run June 18 -June 29. 9:30 a.m. - 12 noon.
