Spring Exhibition 2007
By Mona Shah
Hayward's Recreation District's 'PhotoCentral' presents an exciting exhibition of photography at its gallery from March 30 to May 14. This annual event celebrates the work of the students and patrons of PhotoCentral founded in 1983 by Geir and Kate Jordahl. For the past twenty-three years, PhotoCentral has developed into a community program for photographers to grow, explore and enjoy the company of other photographers.
Classes and workshops designed for photographers of all abilities and ages are offered. They are appropriate for both traditional and digital image-makers. Instructors/assistants represent a broad range of talents and photographic interests.
PhotoCentral is a great facility for photographers seeking a place to work and share ideas with fellow enthusiasts. As part of its 20th anniversary, PhotoCentral has built a quality black and white darkroom and mounting facility available to photographers with darkroom experience.
The PhotoCentral Gallery features exciting new work of local, regional and national talent.
