Tri-City Homeless Coalition to Unveil its New Mobile Health Clinic
New mobile clinic goes to homeless encampments and shelters to provide quality care
WHO: Rev. Greg Roth, President of the Tri-City Homeless Coalition, Boston Scientific Representatives, and Officials from Alameda County, Fremont, Livermore, Newark and Union Cities. WHAT: Tri-City Homeless Coalition will be unveiling its new state-of-the-art mobile health clinic. Local officials will be presenting and will be on hand for interviews. Serving Fremont, Union City, Newark, Livermore and Dublin, the mobile clinic reaches more than 1,000 patients per year. The clinic provides homeless with case management, substance abuse treatment, mental health services and primary care service. With the assistance of a $33,000 grant from the Boston Scientific Foundation, the van will offer state-of-art equipment.
