The public and media are encouraged to attend one of two meetings, which will provide an overview of the project, describe the project and potential locations, identify next steps and, most importantly, provide a time for public input. The public meetings are scheduled for:
March 8, 2007, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. North Berkeley Senior Center 1901 Hearst Avenue Berkeley, CA 94709 March 15, 2007, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Albany Public Library 1247 Marin Avenue Albany, CA 94706
"We encourage residents, business owners and anyone interested in providing input on this project to attend one of the two public scoping meetings," said WTA Community Relations Manager Shirley Douglas. "We welcome comments on any issue that should be addressed in the Environmental Impact Report/Environmental Impact Statement (EIR/EIS)."
