The John Gomes Elementary Invitational basketball tournament gets under way Friday March 2nd at 3:30 p.m.. Gomes, host of this year's tournament, comes out with a high-powered offense on both the girls and boys teams. Action will continue Friday with four games scheduled; the last game to start at 6:30 p.m.. The tournament will continue Saturday with consolation games beginning at 9:30 a.m. and championship games beginning at 11:45 a.m. Competing schools representing the Mission San Jose High School attendance area are Gomes, Mission Valley, Chadbourne, and Mission San Jose Elementary. |
