Forbidden Broadway

By Mona Shah

Here's a perfect way to spend an evening with your family and friends, or send a belated Valentine! Celebrating their 24th year in New York, the Off-Broadway hit Forbidden Broadway is in the Bay Area for one night only.

Voted the 2005 Drama Desk Award, Forbidden Broadway was cited as the best musical revue delivering spoofs of old favorites like "Little Shop of Horrors" and classic comedies such as Monty Python's "Spamalot." Those who love music combined with impersonations will be regaled with parodies of Broadway's legendary shows from Disney's Lion King to Mel Brooks' "The Producers."
