Community volunteers needed

It's that time again! American High School Performing Arts is entering production on "Thoroughly Modern Millie," the 2002 Tony award winner for best musical. It's a fun but a demanding production, so we are looking for volunteers to help with costumes.

We are hoping to limit the number of costumes we have to build from scratch, but it is inevitable that we will need to make some, so we would love some help. We will pay for all patterns, fabric, and notions. Arrangements have been made to rent ensemble costumes for two large production numbers from a local theatre company. Our school fashion club and advisor have also committed to help with the show.

We have a strong vision of what we are looking for, so we would just love some strong sewing help to build some lead and principal costumes and to tie up loose ends.

If you would like to help, please contact Troy River at: triver@fremont.k12.ca.us or troy-river@sbcglobal.net or (510) 796-1776 ext 57702.

Our schedule is as follows:
Auditions-February 5-8
Rehearsal-February 12-April 25
Production-April 26-May 5

Costume volunteer meeting on February 13, please contact Troy River to attend.
