January 9, 2007 > Adult School public hearing set for Jan. 17 Adult School public hearing set for Jan. 17 The Fremont Adult School receives funding for distance education programs that is limited to 5 percent of its base funding. During the 2005-2006 school year, enrollment in distance learning programs exceeded the number of students funded by the state formula. To receive full funding, the Adult School must request a waiver from the state and hold a public hearing in connection with that request. The hearing will be conducted during the regular Fremont Unified School District Board of Trustees meeting on Jan. 17, 2007, at 6:30 p.m. in the Fremont City Council Chambers, 3300 Capitol Ave., Fremont, CA.
