January 2, 2007 > Local student named as yearbook editor at Notre Dame Belmont Local student named as yearbook editor at Notre Dame Belmont Yearbook advisor Mrs. Peggy Brady announced yearbook editors for the 2006 - 2007 school publication: Cassandra Bass, Emma Clark, Alissa Eggli, Dani Eggli, Charlene Gemora, Kristen Lowe and Elviza Kho. Kristen Lowe is the daughter of Fremont residents Kevin and Eva Lowe. The Columbia Scholastic Press Association awarded the 2006 Torch the Silver Medalist for its excellent concept, coverage, writing, design and photography. The judge noted the staff's exceptionally strong dominant photos and use of graphics to enhance the theme "Beyond it All." The 2006 Torch was also awarded first place and Outstanding Division Pages by the American Scholastic Press Association. TCV wishes the new editors of the Torch continued success in their journalistic endeavors.
