Finals for the Fremont Symphony's 2007 Young Artist Competition for string players (violin, viola, cello and bass) will be held on Sunday, January 14, at 2 pm in room 2-133 at Ohlone College, 43600 Mission Blvd., Fremont. Finalists will perform an entire concerto with piano accompaniment. First prize is $1000 and a chance to perform with the Fremont Symphony in a regular subscription concert.
