On Friday, November 3, 2006, Junior Girl Scout Troop 25 presented over 1200 socks, mittens and gloves to Tri-City Volunteers. The project was their contribution to October’s Make a Difference Day and involved many of the Gomes Elementary School family. Bryan Bevers, executive director said, "These donations are greatly appreciated and will go a long way in serving needy people of the communities that Tri-City Volunteers serves. Thank you Girl Scout Troop 25!"
