Better watch out, Santa and Ronald are coming to townby Washington Hospital
An air of excitement will envelop Washington West’s Conrad E. Anderson Auditorium Saturday morning as hundreds of children happily anticipate the arrival of two cheerful and universal icons. The annual Children’s Holiday Breakfast features activities for kids plus the magical antics of Ronald McDonald, a clown for all seasons, followed by the arrival of the biggest winter celebrity of all, Santa Claus. Breakfast is a collaborative effort of Washington Hospital Healthcare Foundation and the Bernardin family McDonald’s Restaurants in Fremont, part of a larger Trees of Angels celebration that not only provides bright and cheerful tree lightings but reminds us of the important works of local hospice services. Space for Santa and Ronald’s breakfast is limited; reservations at $5 per person (including adults) are required, so look in this paper for the form to make sure your kids don’t miss this holiday fun. The cost includes breakfast, a McDonald’s Happy Meal toy and a photo with Santa. A reservation form can also be found at www.treesofangels.org, calling the Foundation at (510) 791-3428 or writing to foundation@whhs.com.
